Summary:
Delivers company training programs and workshops to employees and managers. Monitors the effectiveness of training on employees using individual or group performance results. Collects feedback on sessions from attendees to use for future improvements to content and presentation. Develops new training program design and existing program enhancements including lesson plans and training aids. Responsible for clerical and administrative duties related to the delivery of training and organizational development programs. Schedule's training events, coordinates with instructors, obtains and distributes required instructional materials, and communicates schedules and details. Processes enrollments and answers routine inquiries regarding courses, schedules, and locations. Uses an information system or database to enter data and produce reports on training statistics, inventory levels or assessments of the programs and instructors. Coordinates additional services including technical equipment, meals and refreshments, housekeeping, maintenance or repairs. Essential Duties/Functions:
Coordinate, schedule, track and ensure personnel are receiving training in accordance with the annual plan. Coordinate with qualified instructors to present training. Develop new training materials as needed to support crew training. Conduct training when qualified and experienced in the subject being presented. Ensure crew training supports the integration of safety training systems, processes, and programs with ACBL's operations, to meet our customers' expectations, and regulatory safety requirements. Develop training reports to supports standards set in the Company's Safety Management System. Work safely and not put themselves or others' health or safety at risk by their acts or omissions. Performs all other duties as assigned. Education Requirements:
Four-Year Degree related to Workplace Training is preferred, but not required Years of
Experience:
7
year's experience coordinating workplace training programs Maritime experience working on vessels is preferred but not required. Demands:
Ability to use office productivity software such as Microsoft Office Suite Ability to learn new computer programs. USCG licensing is preferred Travel as required as required, estimated to be 40%. Must maintain valid Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC) FLSA Status:
Exempt.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Organization Development & TrainingEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
